The pill makes them sit down and pay attention , then to have their mind wondering on something less important then school work . " they are prescribing stimulants to struggling students in schools starved of extra money - not to treat A.D.H.D. , necessarily , but to boost their academic performance ". This quote shows that the schools weren't using the extra money for A.D.H.D , but just to help their education improve .
