In "Should 16-year-olds drive?" Ted Gregory explores that it's unsafe for teens of the age of 16 to be able to drive. Most of the people who were interviewed about this agreed that it's a bad idea.

This passage includes quotes from teens, teachers, experts, and everyday people. Ted Gregory also pulls facts from another state. One fact that stood out to me was "The example the institute uses most prominently is New Jersey, the only state with a minimum driver's license age of 17." this quote shows that in some states teens can get a diver's license at the age of 16, but only in New Jersey you have to be 17.

I think driving at the age of 16 is a benefit to teens and parents. Driving can open the world up to you and let you explore places you never been to on your own. Most teens would agree with me because they're ready to be independent. However, adults/parents wont agree because they believe we will put our self in more trouble; better yet danger.

This article made me think about how many teens are on the road now without license. Most adults are aware of this action but aren't doing anything about it. This causes more teens every year too lose their life.

In "Marijuana law just creates criminals" Hakeem Jeffries explores that in New York City they spend $75 million each year arresting people because they recreated marijuana. The passage stated "More than 50,000 people in 2011 were arrested in New York City for possessing small amounts of marijuana."

The passage includes quotes from governors. Gov. Andrew Cuomo points out that he wants to reduce the possession of marijuana. one quote that stood out to me was "The possession of small quantities of marijuana is either a crime or it is not." This quote shows that people are confused about the idea of having marijuana or not.

I think people should be allowed to have or use marijuana. It sometimes help people; for example if someone is going threw a hard they take drugs to keep that situation out of their head. Most people don't think that way, they believe people always use drugs to high and under the influence.

This article made me think about a time when everyone got on my nerves and i wanted them to leave me alone. I didn't take marijuana but i listened to music to keep that situation out my head. When i did that i noticed that i was only paying attention to the lyrics of the music.
