Attention Disorder or Not , Pills to Help in School

There are pills being to help children focus with A.D.H.D. Its also being used as an excuse to help with " poor academic performance in inadequate schools ". The pills are mainly used for the students that don't focus on what their suppose to do in school . The pill makes them sit down and pay attention , then to have their mind wondering on something less important then school work . " they are prescribing stimulants to struggling students in schools starved of extra money - not to treat A.D.H.D. , necessarily , but to boost their academic performance ". This quote shows that the schools weren't using the extra money for A.D.H.D , but just to help their education improve .

In October of 2011 the prices for " Jiff Peanut Butter " increased to about 24 percent . I'm not sure if that was good idea or not , but i will explain on both sides . Jiff peanut butter is great for an after noon snack for your child after a long 7 or 8 hour day at school . Or even for your child's lunch at school .I don't think the jiff peanut butter should have raised 24 percent for two reasons . One its just peanut butter , not milk s, something that you use everyday , . Two people don't usually use peanut . I have been to plenty of people's homes and i don't usually find peanut butter when looking for a snack . An everyday usage is milk . People tend to use milk everyday for : drinking , cooking , and maybe other reasons as well . There's one reason why i do think the jiff peanut butter raising 24 percent was a good , its name brand .Making name brands food for people to use costs a lot of money so i could understand why they would raise it .

In " Studies Find More Students Cheating , With High Achievers No Exception " by Richard Perez Pena , the author reveals that in the last year or so there is much cheating goin on inmcompetitive schools .The Cheating could be beacuse of behavior and attitudes . Higher students tend to do the same as their peers .The author says ,"...there is evidence that the problem has worsened over the last few decades . "Cheating now a days seem to become easier to do.This article has quotes from experts , parents , and school officals to show or prove that cheating has worsened over the years in top schools .One quote that stood out to me is ," Large scale cheating has been uncovered the last year at some of the nation's most competitive schools...". This quote shows that even students that has great grades and participation are even cheating .I believe that cheating is a big deal . Students study and try their hardest to receive the grades they great ,and are just coping what they do . So they are just taking their peers credit . Unfair right ? Why do people cheat ? Is it easier than just to study ? Are you taking what you are cheating off of ? Think next time you cheat .

In the short passage "Texting May Be Taking a Toll" , Katie Hafner, the writer , discover that texting leads to : less sleep , falling grades ,cramps in thumbs , and is also a huge distraction during school hours .It is stated that " American teenagers sent and received an average of 2,272 text messages per month .... "In this short passage it includes quotes from teenagers telling how parents are being hypocrisy about their children texting .That detail stood out to me because I believe its true, one minute parents are yelling at their kids then the next their doing exactly what their child was doing .I honestly think this is not a serious topic . Teenagers are just being their self and doing what they do best .

I want parents to just sit one day focus on what their child is doing .What are they doing ? Most importantly , does it make them happy ? Are they smiling , laughing , and talking to their self sometimes ? Its what we do . This passage did make me think a little different . Maybe us teens could take a little time off texting , and help around the house or anything else . I just have one question to the parents : Do you ever realize you were once a teen before ?
